Shanwei Sanfeng Environmental Energy Co., Ltd. is a waste-to-energy project company wholly owned by Sanfeng Environment Group, located in the town of Ketang in Shanwei County, covered by an area of 448 acre. It is the first modern WTE Plant solely invested by Sanfeng Environment Group in Guangdong province with BOT mode. The project includes WTE Plants, sanitary landfills, leachate treatment stations and supporting facilities, mainly to deal with household waste in Shanwei City, Haifeng County, Lufeng County and Red Bay Economic Zone.

2,100 tons per day domestic waste treatment capacity is designed for the project, the first phase is equipped with a 700 tons per day incinerator and a 15MW turbo-generator set, which was completed and put into operation in December 2015. Construction of the second phase project (1400 tons per day) is progressing in an orderly manner.
